Emmie is having a winter one-derland themed birthday, so I created a matching set up to match her party theme! Emmie was one of my newborn clients, and I can't believe she is turning one already!

Amelia
Amelia looked so beautiful at her first birthday session, and she had so much fun playing dress up and playing with cake! She loved wearing lots of different dresses from my client closet including a couture, one-of-a-kind Bentley and Lace dress. She ate her cake very gently and politely at first, but by the end of her session she completely smashed it!

CAMERON
Cameron's mama wanted a golf set up for her adorable little man, but wanted to keep it light, neutral and classic. I loved creating this timeless set up for Cameron, and love how the images are still neutral enough to look amazing in any home! Cameron hesitantly took a few portraits before the cake, but when the cake came out he warmed right up and had SO much fun getting messy!

My client closet is filled with outfits and beautiful dresses for your sweet little one! We will choose a theme or color scheme that you love, pick the perfect outfit, and make some magic!

2. plan your session with me!
We will plan the perfect session together! For cake smash sessions we will discuss what themes you like! It can be something to match the theme of their birthday party, a theme of something they love like ice cream or strawberries, or just a simple color scheme like blue/white! We will discuss outfits, the cake, and I'll be there leading the way every step to create the set up, get everything ready, and make sure it all comes together perfectly!
3. prepare for your session
In most cases for milestone sessions, all you have to bring to your session is a cute baby! I will prepare everything for your session and make sure it's perfect! If there is a special outfit that we've discussed you bringing you'll bring that as well, but for most sessions I've got absolutely everything waiting for you here!
4. session time!
The day is here! Your baby has reached a special milestone, and it's time to celebrate that! It's going to be so much FUN! We will sing, dance, and play while we capture just how amazing and special your baby is! My goal is for your session to be totally stress free and fun, which will help your baby enjoy it, too! If we need to take a bottle break, a snack break, or a play time break, that's completely fine! It's all about your little one and capturing them at this precious stage in their life!
5. your photographs
I will send you a gallery of proofs within one week of the session! From there, you'll be able to choose your favorite images! I will take the time to edit each of your favorite images individually and make sure they're perfect, and within one more week you'll have your final gallery! Prints are available as well, but not required! Your final, edited, digital images will be available to you to download, post, print, and cherish forever!

Jen did unicorn photos of our princess for her third birthday recently.
I spoke to numerous photographers (prob 10-12) via messages prior to booking & by far she was the quickest to respond and most efficient. She went out of her way to answer my million questions in a timely fashion. I also knew what to expect the day of and exactly what dress I wanted my daughter to wear. She had 3 choices for us to choose from, sent me photos prior to the session and prior to booking to make sure it was what I was looking for. Her having the dress also made the session a million times smoother and more cost effective.
To top that off-you never know how a toddler is going to respond to a stranger such as a photographer especially in the evenings when the photo shoot was done but my daughter loved her ! The day after the photo shoot she asked about Mrs. Jen again and going to see her.
The photos were back within a week & amazing!
I could not be happier with the photo session we had (the whole process, we have done photos professionally 4 times since my daughter was born & this by far was the best customer service we have received) and look forward to doing another one when my youngest is a little older! I wish I had known about her before my second baby girl was born!

Jen has such a calming personality. She did amazing with my baby who wouldn’t seem to settle down closer to the end of the photoshoot. She was knowledgeable on how to get him to settle down. We had an in home shoot. She arrived on time and had everything needed with her. She brought props and swaddles. When I reached out to Jen to find out pricing and what things she offered she responded quickly and stayed in communication with me until after the shoot. My baby boy came a week early and she was awesome about changing the photoshoot date to accommodate us. Pictures came out amazing and I would highly recommend her for not only newborn shoots but all shoots she offers!
